HSSK Assists in Favorable Resolution of Memorial Hermann Anti-Trust Case

Miguel Franco, M.D., et al. v Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, et al., v West Houston GP, L.P., et al.
Jurors determined that Memorial Hermann Healthcare System did not use improper anti-trust tactics to coerce insurance companies into boycotting a startup hospital, Houston Town & Country Hospital, by convincing them to refuse to place their patients in the new hospital. HSSK was retained by one of the defendants in the case, involving claims of breach of contract and anti-trust. The case went to trial and was resolved in favor of our client.
