David S. Butler, Jr., ASA-BV, CPA

David Butler is a Manager in the Business Valuation Group in Houston. His areas of experience include valuing closely held  businesses and equity ownership in connection with employee stock ownership plans, buy-sell agreements, shareholder/partner disputes, fairness opinions, gift and estate valuations, purchase price allocations, exit planning,  and marital  dissolution. He has valued a wide variety of closely held operating entities in diverse industries including architecture & engineering, manufacturing, distribution, trucking, supermarkets, commercial real estate, financial brokerage, and software development. He has valued non-operating entities (partnerships, FLPs, and other estate planning vehicles) with a variety of assets including marketable securities, farmland, and real estate.
